Bushnell Night Vision Monocular - No More Blinding Darkness
Bushnell 2.5 x 42 Night Vision Monocular is an advance device to provide vision in conditions of low light and no light. Featuring a high-standard of light-gathering technology as well as infrared illuminators, all installed in a compact and light device, the Bushnell Night Vision Monocular is surely the ideal device to take along when you go camping or cave exploring or night fishing, as well as for security and surveillance. Bushnell 2.5 x 42 Night Vision Monocular has built-in advance light-gathering technology. It first collects any available light (energy) through the objective lens and focuses it on the image intensifier. The light is then processed through the CMOS chips, which are highly sensitive image sensors, which convert the light into electrons and generate images of the objects. Those electrons then accelerate across an electrostatic field inside the intensifier and strike a phosphor screen, emitting an image which is displayed on a micro-display, which is a type of LCD flat-panel display screen, with technology that provides the best resolution of all the flat-panel techniques. The monocular can also transfer the images to video camcorders, laptop monitors, and television screens
What about when there is no light source available at all? For such situation, the Bushnell Night Vision Monocular has the infrared illuminators. The monocular features two built-in infrared diodes for emitting infrared beams of adjustable intensity. When there is no light source at all, the device can send out ambient infrared beams to function as light source, so that the monocular can gather and amplify the that light in order to generate image of objects for you to see.
The Night Vision Bushnell Monocular has a good 42 mm objective lens and 2.5 times magnification. Its focus distance is 4 feet and its viewing range is 400 to 600 feet. It has field of view of 79 feet at 1000 yards. It is 6.7 x 3.7 x 2.7 inches and 14 ounces, very compact and light. Hand strap and tripod mount are included for your convinience.
