The holiday and travel industry is among the most rapidly developing out there. It needs to be really due to the massive revenue that the industry generates and the aggressive competition that results.There are companies out there in the industry that are struggling simple because they cannot keep up with the advances in technology and are being beaten by competitors who can offer their customers better channels of communication. Lets take a closer look at what methods travel companies are now calling upon to communicate with their customers better
Email. You could argue that email has been around for quite a while now and is not a new form of communication. Yet there are still travel companies who do not use it to its full potential and instead still do most of their communication via phone or post. Obviously this is used alongside other communication methods but companies who do not adopt this, especially in the luxury cruises business, will soon struggle
Social media. You must of had your head in the sand if you've not caught all the talk about how great (or how bad) social media can be for businesses. However, companies that are at the top of their game or willing to keep an open mind, much like Oberoi Nile Cruises, are reaping the rewards by communicating with potential customers on their own level and in an informal setting. Twitter is set to be a big player in the industry as people can follow individual companies and get instant information on the latest offers they are providing that minute

Wind is generated by multiple sources including thermal differentials and the spinning of the planet. Wind exists on all planets that have atmosphere and will continue to be there until some catastrophic event destroys the planet.
Wind has the disadvantage that is is difficult to predict and can vary significantly. Since a power company generally must ensure that there is sufficient power generation capability to meet peak demand, they must have sufficient non-wind power to meet that demand. Thus while the wind-power is renewable, there must be enough non-wind generation ability and the wind-power may not be cost effective to use.
