My 240 had power windows, but it is a small car, and it is no problem to reach across and open the windows if you need to. Some of the advantages of manual windows are reduced weight, and reduced complexity if something goes wrong.
That being said, it is a lot of trouble to do for someone with no electrical/mechanical experience, but is very possible. I recommend getting a service manual, as there will be a ton of wiring. Take your doors off and see what it looks like. It is only a few screws, then pulling to undo some snaps. This is one of the easiest things in taking apart a 240. Then, go to a junkyard and look for a donor with power windows. Take the motor, switch, door panel, and wiring from that car. follow the wiring as long as you can without messing things up for people that will need other things off of the car.

Ford has finally given us a complete walk around video of the company's ready-
to-order Ford Focus ST-R racer. The vehicle is available through the Ford
Racing catalog and features all the tricks you'll need to compete in series
like the Grand-Am ST class or the SCCA World Challenge TC. The racecar makes
use of the same production EcoBoost 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and six-
speed manual transmission found in the production model, though the engine has
